Guests enjoyed a delicious hog roast prepared by local caterers H.V. Graves. The locally reared hogs were roasted in their own bakery ovens and cooked to perfection. In a relaxed informal atmosphere, guests were able to help themselves to locally brewed Beer, wine or soft drinks.

We would like to thank all the farmers and partner distributers that made the enormous effort to turn out and make the day such a success. The weather held out for the day, bringing beautiful sunshine, so our 250 guests were treated to a surprise, acrobatic, biplane fly over. Visitors were able to walk around the plant at their leisure and were given guided tours of our facilities.

Guests were joined by michelin star chef Galton Blackiston of award winning Morston Hall who mingled with the crowd during the day then later addressed them, officially opening the plant.

The day ended with a friendly 20/20 cricket match between Brisley Cricket Club and the Payne Invitation 11 team at the Brisley Cricket Club grounds. Although the skies looked stormy the teams managed to avoid the rain.

Below you can see the Payne Invitation11 team. Although they confessed they didn't feel at their fittest they were able to pull off a surprise win on the day.
